As of January 1, 2025, the Institute for American Apprenticeships (IAA) joined forces with Training Funding Partners (TFP) to create JobForward.

About IAA

IAA was founded on its mission to create guaranteed jobs for unemployed and underemployed individuals. Today, IAA has developed and implemented programs to serve thousands of apprentices in numerous nontraditional, apprenticeable occupations for employers nationwide. We also provide grant writing services and technical assistance around the U.S. to develop and register apprenticeship programs.

About TFP

For over 25 years, TFP has been a leader in accessing and managing workforce funding nationally, managing over $235 Million in workforce funding, and developing and implementing talent pipeline, upskilling, and apprenticeship programs.

With our combined expertise, we can assist with workforce planning, strategy, program design and implementation and grant writing and grant management and look forward to understanding your goals.

Mission Statement

Driving workforce strategies that foster individual growth, strengthen businesses, and elevate the future of work.

We build trusted partnerships while offering innovative training and resource solutions.

Our Impact

  • Supporting employers, colleges and universities, workforce boards, business associations, government agencies, and other stakeholders with workforce development consulting and technical assistance
  • Serving as an extension of our partner organizations to assist with exploration, ideation, and planning to implement workforce solutions
  • Designing and supporting Registered Apprenticeship programs in virtually every state and nationwide
  • Securing and managing funding assistance for employers and partners
  • Acting as a convenor of organizations to create solutions where the sum is greater than the parts

From launching new programs to supporting long-term system change, our work reaches far beyond what can be captured in a single graphic. Still, these figures illustrate the scale, quality, and impact of the programs we help design, strengthen, and sustain.
